The Kerala Story and Guardians Of The Galaxy 3 week one collections have been released. The Kerala story has been doing blistering business at the box office in its first week in India and it doesn’t look like the tide of the movie will stop anytime soon as it is getting bigger every day. Monday’s film collections almost matched Saturday’s early figures and the film has been on the rise ever since, with its collections increasing on weekdays, despite a ban in the state of West Bengal. Guardians Of The Galaxy Volume 3, on the other hand, does business as expected, i.e. fair business.
Kerala history goes from strength to strength
The Kerala Story is doing amazing business in the country with collections increasing even on weekdays. The film opened to a number of around Rs 6.75 crores on the opening day, but from then on there was no longer a day when the film made less than Rs 10 crores in India. The content of the film targets a community and driven by its hateful nature, it is attracting more and more attention. With the way things are going, a lifespan of Rs 200 crore seems almost certain. This will be enough for it to become the second highest grossing Hindi film of 2023, after Pathaan. The film is enjoying a wider international release from May 12 and it is expected to increase its numbers even further. Producers will earn at least more than Rs 100 crores from this project.

Day 2 – Rs 11 cr
Day 3 – Rs 16 cr
Day 4 – Rs 10.25 cr
Day 5 – Rs 11 cr
Day 6 – Rs 11.75 cr
Day 7 – Rs 11.25 cr (east)
Total = Rs 78 crores net in 7 days
The Guardians Of The Galaxy Volume 3 is doing business, more or less as expected. It’s what you expect from a Marvel movie. The film packed a weekend of around Rs 26 crore and then saw a 50% drop from Friday to Monday. The weekday trend has been fairly ordinary despite excellent word of mouth. He will aim to settle for a lifetime accumulation of around Rs 50 crores. It’s already the highest-grossing Guardians movie in India, so that’s the movie’s biggest plus.

Day 3 – Rs 9.75 cr

Total = Rs 38.60 cr net in 7 days
