There are a LOT of great movies coming out in 2023. Barbie For Wonders and more, there’s plenty to be excited about, and one of the most anticipated movies is Dune: part two.
Directed by Denis Villeneuve and written by Denis and Jon Spaihts, Dune: part two is the sequel to dune and is the final part of the two-part adaptation of Frank Herbert’s beloved 1965 novel.
In this part, Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) will unite with Chani (Zendaya) and the Fremen as he seeks revenge on the people who destroyed his family and tries to stop a disastrous future that only he can predict.
Yes, unlike duneZendaya will play a major role in Dune: part twoas Chani and Paul’s relationship takes center stage.
Timothy, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Javier Bardem, Stellan Skarsgård, and Dave Bautista reprise their respective roles from the first film, and this time around they’re joined by several new actors, namely Florence Pugh and Austin Butler.
So far, we haven’t seen much of Florence and Austin in the teaser for Dune: part twoand there was only one viral poster showing Austin totally bald for the film.
And now, Warner Bros. the first trailer has just been released, and we FINALLY have our first look at Florence as Princess Irulan and Austin as Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen, respectively.
Princess Irulan is the Emperor’s daughter, and she is the one who believes Paul is still alive. The Emperor is played by Christopher Walken in the film.
Next, here’s our first look at Austin as Feyd-Rautha, the young nephew of Baron Harkonnen (Skarsgård) and intended successor to Arrakis. Obviously, making him one of the big bad guys in Dune: part two.
You can even spot Feyd-Rautha and Paul fighting as well.
Also, the cinematography of this movie is so beautiful, like with dune. And, including Florence’s narration, it’s so good, and I’m sold once again.
Basically, I’m so excited to see the performances that the whole cast delivers when Dune: part two hits theaters November 3.
