Guardians of the Galaxy 3: 2 million box office admissions in France for the Marvel film

TO REMEMBER

With over 2 million entries, Guardians of the Galaxy 3 already met the score of the previous Marvel, Ant-Man 3, and its 1.5 million tickets sold. Despite a 47% drop in its second week of operation, attendance for the film remains 40% higher than that of Thor 4 in July 2022.

It is also 66% higher than that of Ant-Man 3, released in February 2023. However, Black Panther 2 surpasses Star-Lord by 8% at the same time of its exploitation last November. Guardians of the Galaxy 3 aligns with Doctor Strange 2, which also reached 2 million admissions over the same time period last year.

Marvel Guardians would have exceeded the score of the first installment and its 2.4 million torn tickets. Will he be able to get the 3.2 million admissions for the second episode to become the biggest hit in the saga led by James Gunn? We’ll have to wait a few more weeks to find out.

Note that at the end of its second week, Les Gardiens 3 is doing better than the first opus (1.4 million) and remains just below the performance of the second (2.2 million admissions after 2 weeks).

Super Mario Bros. continues to hold up well with more than 230,000 additional spectators. The animated film should soon exceed 7 million admissions. On the 3rd step of the podium, Russell Crowe fr Vatican Exorcist made a great debut with a first week of 155,000 tickets sold. As to Three Musketeersthey just came back from passing the milestone of 3 million fans.
