How much are the stars of I’m A Celebrity 2023 paid?

Although ITV does not disclose how much celebrities are paid to appear on the popular reality show, in the past stars were expected to receive between £30,000 and £900,000, depending on the celebrity’s notoriety.

Last year, pop icon Boy George became one of the highest-paid contestants of all time, with Mail online reporting that he scored £900,000 for his appearance. Until the singer’s stint on the show, Deal or No Deal host Noel Edmonds was considered the highest-paid star to date, raking in around £550,000 to appear in 2018.

Over the years, several reports have clarified that celebrities usually receive a flat fee and that this amount does not change based on how long they avoid elimination or if they win the series. It is very likely that this will be the case for 2023.

Unlike Strictly Come Dancing, where celebrities historically receive a package that cannot be negotiated with producers, i am a celebrity stars can charge a higher amount when it comes to theirs.

Considering that former professional boxer Amir Khan has the highest estimated net worth of around £40million, there is a high likelihood that he will be paid the most for his appearance on I am a celebrity: all the stars.

As for the show’s presenting duo Ant and Dec, the pair reportedly earn £3.3million each per month for their time with ITV. In January 2023, they also signed a three-year ‘golden handcuffs’ deal with the broadcaster, which is expected to be worth more than £30m.
