I’m A Celebrity’s Chris Brown Tears As He Says Goodbye To The Show: ‘Heartbroken’

After nine years of hosting I’m a celebrity… Get me out of here! Alongside Julia Morris, Chris Brown said goodbye to the Channel 10 reality show during Thursday night’s semi-final.

The popular personality announced in February that he had signed a deal with Channel Seven, with whom he began his television career in 2003, and would join the network in July.

Chris bid a tearful farewell to i am a celebrity viewers ahead of Sunday night’s finale and said it had been “the greatest professional privilege” of his life to host the show with Julia.

“And it’s because of the things you don’t see at home,” he detailed. “It’s because of this incredible team of 400 people, it’s our blended family that we’re all so close to, and it’s this incredible creative force that comes together in ways you can’t imagine.”

THE Bondi Veterinarian The star then thanked the entire team of writers, producers and creators of the show for trusting him as a host, as well as the viewers for laughing with the “madness”, and assured that the series would continue after his departure.

“I just really want to mention this incredible woman who is next to me here,” he added as he began to cry.

“Nine years ago when people said it was crazy to pair a vet with a comedian, we both laughed a lot at the time because we knew we clicked and we knew we had something something special and I don’t think I could have ever imagined how special it would be and where that spark would take us and the connection we would have.

“I just wanted to say it’s been an honor, it’s been a privilege, and I really hope and I’m sure this isn’t the last time we experience this spark. It will take us to so many places. , I’m sure.

Julia also got emotional as she thanked Chris for his time on the show and shared the story of when they first met nearly a decade ago.

“We found ourselves presenting an award to the Logies together, and there, on stage, watched by viewers numbering in the hundreds, we clicked,” she shared. “We had chemistry, and who would have guessed that this odd couple would work so perfectly. In addition, we are in love, few people know it.

“Anyway, you know the rest of the story, my dear doctor. We became co-hosts of this crazy celebrity show and here we are nine years later. I was supposed to go through this as a joke guys, but I can honestly say from the bottom of my heart that I’m heartbroken to say goodbye to my beloved doctor.

She ended the segment by speaking on behalf of the entire show and encouraged viewers to vote for i am a celebrity to win a Logie and “send the doctor in style”.

After the emotional moment, viewers took to social media to express their sadness over Chris’ departure.

“We will miss you so much, Dr Chris!” one person said, followed by another who added: ‘The chemistry will never be the same with anyone else’.
