Mission: Impossible 7 Trailer and Poster Reveal Tom Cruise’s Action Show

We finally have a new look at the upcoming action movie epic, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1, courtesy of an action-packed trailer and an all-new poster. Courtesy of Paramount Pictures, the new trailer for Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1 reveals a bit more of what this year’s adventure has in store for Tom Cruise as unstoppable secret agent Ethan Hunt. In Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1, Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his team at the IMF embark on their most dangerous mission yet: hunt down a terrifying new weapon that threatens all of humanity before it falls into the wrong hands. As control of the future and fate of the world hangs in the balance, and the dark forces of Ethan’s past draw closer, a deadly race around the world begins. Faced with a mysterious and all-powerful enemy, Ethan is forced to consider that nothing matters more than his mission, not even the lives of those he cares about most.

Written and directed by Christopher McQuarrie, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1 finds characters like Tom Cruise, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, and Frederick Schmidt, reprising their roles from various installments of the Mission: Impossible franchise. The sequel will also see Henry Czerny reprising the role of Eugene Kittridge, the former IMF chief who was last seen in the very first. Impossible mission back in 1996.

Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1 will throw a bunch of new faces into the action, including Marvel stars Hayley Atwell and Pom Klementieff, plus Shea Whigham, Esai Morales, Rob Delaney, Charles Parnell, Indira Varma, Mark Gatiss and Cary Elwes.

Mission: Impossible 7 promises to deliver some of the greatest stunts of Tom Cruise’s career

Hollywood legend Tom Cruise has become just as well known for his death-defying stunts as he is for his acting, with the Impossible mission the deductible increases the bet more and more with each payment. Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1 is no exception, in fact this will be the most death-defying of the series so far.

Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1 will see Cruise perform “the greatest stunt in movie history”, which sees the actor jump out of a helicopter, open his parachute for a safe landing (somewhat surprisingly he even uses a parachute to this point), before driving a high-speed motorbike up a ramp that happens to be placed at the edge of a cliff. Abandoning the motorcycle as he plummets through the air, the final part of the stunt finds Cruise falling into a base jump.

Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1 is slated for a US release on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 by Paramount Pictures. Another sequel, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 2is set to release on June 28, 2024.
