Ponniyin Selvan 2 Box Office Collection Day 3: After creating a huge box office record with the movie PS-1 last year, popular director Mani Ratnam has come up with the second part of the Tamil movie “Ponniyin Selvan”. The film, like its first part, won the hearts of the audience and made a lot of money at the box office. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Vikram and Aishwarya Rai, Bachchan’s starring film “Ponniyin Selvan 2” banged over Rs 80 crore at the box office in its first weekend.

The film was released on April 28 and has been on screens for three days now. The latter part of the series witnesses an upward trend with each passing day. PS-2 hit Rs 24 crore on Day 1 (1st Friday) and Rs 26.2 crore on Day 2 (1st Saturday). While the action-adventure drama’s Sunday collections were the highest yet at Rs 30.3 crore, according to data released by the industry tracker.
