“You need to be cleansed of all your sins…Are you ready for your ‘cleansing’?” Hulu has unveiled the full trailer for an Australian streaming series called The meadow, about a bizarre cult that steals from young children. It is described as a “gripping psychological thriller about a religious cult that wreaks human havoc”. Available to watch on Hulu in late May. With a countdown, this “haunting” and “atmospheric” thriller pits a ruthless cult against a mother’s love, revealing that our darkest secrets are the hardest to forget. This driven mother tries to stop a cult from rounding up more innocent children. It is an adaptation of the book In the clearing by JP Pomare. Featuring an impressive cast of Therese Palmier, Miranda OttoAnd Guy Pearcewith Julia Wild, Hazem Chammas, Mark Cole Smith, Kate Mulvany, xavier samuelAnd Claudia Karvan. It sounds like a scary story with disturbing undertones and imagery, especially with this blonde-haired cult that has such a strong hold on these kids. Cults are still just as odious.
