The film received polarized opinions from audiences and politicians. The film was banned in some states, while in others it was declared tax-exempt.

The film stars Adah Sharma, Yogita Bihani, Siddhi Idnani, Pranay Pachuri and Chandra Shekhar Dutta among others in key roles.
